Your QBE Careers account
To create a QBE Careers account (this is via Workday), you must provide a valid email address and create a password that meets our password requirements. Before your account is activated, you will be required to verify your email address using the verification instructions sent to you by email.
Through your account, you may manage your profile information, update your registered email address, and view and manage your current and previous job applications. You may also provide additional information relevant to your applications, including qualifications and experience, and upload supporting documents such as a resume and cover letter.
If you choose to create a candidate account on the QBE Careers Website, you must ensure the details you provide to us are accurate, complete and not misleading. You are responsible for maintaining and updating your account.
You acknowledge that a candidate account on the QBE Careers Website is designed to be used by individuals and must not create duplicate accounts directly or by leveraging technology.
Where you are provided with or create a user account id, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential. You must not disclose it to any third-party.
We have the right to disable any user account if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.
If you know or suspect that anyone other than you has used or compromised your account, you must promptly notify us at peopleassist@qbe.com.
You can delete your account using the 'Delete my Information' option under Settings in Workday, or you can request to delete your Personal Information via the QBE Careers website.
We reserve the right to delete your account and all of your information in accordance with these terms and our Enterprise Candidate Privacy Notice.

You may choose to interact with the Phenom AI chatbot which is made available on the QBE Careers Website. As above, the Phenom chatbot is to provide general information only which is generated automatically; it may be incorrect and we do not represent it is suitable for your circumstances.
You are responsible to input appropriate questions and content only and are responsible for using any output responsibly.
You acknowledge that QBE and Phenom may use any content you input to improve the QBE Careers Website, and/or the Phenom AI chatbot on the QBE Careers Website. We may use any personal information you input in accordance with our Enterprise Candidate Privacy Notice.

Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and any dispute arising in connection with them are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia. We each agree that the courts of New South Wales, Australia will have non-exclusive jurisdiction to determine disputes arising under or in connection with these terms and submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.
