OUR CORE VALUE
Want to start your career with us?
Positions are shared on our Careers website as they open. You can meet us on campus from September to November, apply online, hear back about offers by late January, and start your internship from June.
We know applying for your first role is a big moment, and you do not have to do it alone. If you need support or adjustments at any stage, you can let us know when you apply.
We are committed to a recruitment process that is welcoming, accessible, and inclusive for everyone.
Our Next Generation Underwriting Program is a nine-month paid program designed to develop strong underwriting capability. You will gain hands‑on experience across specialty insurance (such as cyber, marine, aviation and accident & health), reinsurance (helping insurers manage large or unpredictable risks), and commercial insurance (covering everyday business risks like property, liability and workers’ compensation).
Along the way, you will build the skills and confidence needed for a long‑term underwriting career.
We visit campuses between September and November to build the graduate cohort, confirm the group by late January, and welcome graduates into their roles from June.
During the program, you will:
- Take part in a nine-month rotation that builds technical skills and business knowledge
- Work from QBE offices in Atlanta, Chicago, New York or Marblehead, with opportunities to travel to other US locations
- Assess risk for existing and new customers, gaining real world underwriting experience
